Target, -al
A white guy jumps into a pool with a target painted on the bottom. He's aiming for the target, of course. This kanji can also mean -al, as in the endings you get on some English adjectives. You know, like the pool is artifici-al. Or painting a target down there is not practic-al. That kind of -al.
Picture this pasty white dude jumping into the target-bottomed pool. The sun glints off of his unnaturally white skin and stings your eyes.
