Hop
Your foot heard an omen and now it's making you hop over things.
Imagine your foot hearing this omen, "If you step on a crack, you'll break your mother's back." Now your foot hops over all of the tiny cracks in the street and the sidewalk and you look really silly.

As you hop you start to hear an awful scream coming down the street. It's Mrs. Chou (ちょう) and she's running straight for you yelling, "STEP ON MY STREET'S CRACKS! STOP HOPPING OR YOUR MOTHER WILL NEVER BREAK HER BACK!"
Now you're hopping away in fear from Mrs. Chou!
